The Customer Service Representative will be providing exemplary service to HEART LOGISTICS INC. clients in order to meet or surpass customer expectation. The CSR will be responsible for creating world class experience by interaction with the customers, responding to orders, inquiries, concerns and general requests. This will include but not be limited to communication with the transportation, vendors and suppliers ensuring the quality assurance checks are completed and maintained in order to provide excellent customer satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide and negotiate rates to customers.
- Source carriers to move customers freight domestically and cross border.
- Booking and scheduling inbound shipments.
- Understanding Customs documentation.
- Accurately enter details into database in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring seamless and efficient scheduling of pick-ups and deliveries.
- Trace carriers at all times and provide updates to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service- respond to all inquiries or requests, resolve issues, find new carriers to recover loads if required.
- Advise customers of any changes in delivery or pick-ups.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working as a rates coordinator in transportation industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Outlook, Loadlink.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Cope well under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers.
